There’s a reason Devour is at the top of my list of restaurants in the patient resource section, and today’s experience was further proof of the reason behind my love affair with this place.
Devour is a tiny little hole in the wall, you’d never know by looking in that you could get such high quality beautifully prepared dishes. Each day they prepare a different menu, a lot of times it depends on what they can find locally that day. All the ingredients are fresh as can be and delicious.
Today there were 6 items on the menu, ranging from soup to sandwiches to curry to phyllo pie: but as soon as I saw this one, there was no question in my mind what I would order. “Hazelnut sesame crusted Albacore Tuna on Quinoa salad with greens, beets, olives, and orange saffron vinaigrette”
My iPhone photo doesn’t do the dish justice, but you get the idea. It was a perfect combination of flavours, healthy, local, delicious, and affordable!
if you haven’t checked out Devour, here is their website. They update the menu section every day at about 11am, so you can check it before hand to see if there’s anything that strikes your fancy
